Getting there

Where is the conference located?

Asset Management for Critical Infrastructure 2019 will be held at Swissotel Sydney, in the heart of Sydney’s CBD. The full address is 68 Market St, Sydney NSW 2000. Click here to view on Google Maps.

The event is taking place in ‘Blaxland Ballroom’ on level 8. There will be signage in the hotel foyer to direct you there.

How do I get to the venue from Sydney airport?

The Swissotel is located just 30 minutes from Sydney’s International Airport and there is a taxi rank as you exit the airport.

Google Maps is a great way to plan your route. Alternatively, you can use Transport NSW’s  journey planner at https://transportnsw.info/trip#/.

Is there parking?

Self Parking: The closest car park to Swissotel is at Wilsons Parking, 383 Kent Street, Sydney. The walk back will take approximately 5 minutes. This will cost $45.00 per day.

Valet parking: This is on offer from Monday to Thursday. Vehicle retrieval takes between 20-30 minutes per vehicle and it is advisable to pre-arrange this. This will cost $80.00 per day, unlimited entry and exit.

Accommodation

Where do I stay? Is there discounted accommodation?

All Asset Management for Critical Infrastructure delegates are eligible to receive 10% off best available rates at Swissotel. This exclusive offer is subject to availability at the time of booking. Catering

What meals are included with my ticket?

The event is fully catered, with morning, afternoon tea and lunch provided on both days of the conference. Tea and coffee will be available throughout the day. There will also be drinks and canapes available at the networking drinks which will be held at the end of day one.

I have specific dietary requirements. Who do I contact about this?

Your dietary requirements should have been entered when you purchased your ticket. If you would like to change your dietary requirements, or if your dietary requirements were not specified in the booking process, please email [email protected].

Attendance

I only want to attend one day of the conference, is that possible?

Yes, delegates are free to attend whichever sessions are most relevant to them. A two-day ticket must still be purchased in order to register your attendance.

What is the dress code?

Corporate attire is recommended.

What do I need to bring?

We’ve taken care of everything for you – for this event you will be provided with a delegate bag, pens and notepads, and all meals during the day. There will also be a charging station for a limited number of devices. Just bring yourself, your colleagues and a willingness to join in on the asset management conversation.

I’ve registered but haven’t received a ticket?

Don’t worry, there are no physical or e-ticket needed for this event. Once you register online you will receive a confirmation email. All you have to do on the day is to go to the registration desk and say your name. Here you will receive your name badge, lanyard and delegate bag. Your name badge will give you access to all areas of the event including the conference, exhibition and networking drinks. Easy!

Will the speaker presentations be available afterwards?

All speaker presentations will be available after the event, unless otherwise specified by the speaker. Delegates will be sent an email after the event with a survey. Once the survey has been completed the presentations will be unlocked and can be downloaded.
